NASA Satellites Reveal Chemical Cloud On South Coast

ENGLISH CHANNEL, Earth - August 27, 2017: This image, from combined data from the MODIS instruments on the satellites of Aqua, Terra and Suomi NPP shows the same area of the English Channel on August 26, 2017. On the August 27, 2017 image, a large cloud of what is probably the gas that affected the people on beach at Burling Gap on the south coast of England, where hundreds of people reported sore eyes and other symptoms. In contrast to the image from yesterday (see following image) where there is no such cloud (NB No Photoshop curve correction on these images, literally the RAW data).
