Happy New Year everyone!
A perfect time to start a new blogging platform. The slide slide show is a selection of some the programs we've had the honour of supplying content to. Thanks to all our clients and contributors who make all of this possible.
Today we're rolling out our new website dedicated to driving plates. A lot of work went into the development and building of a custom 9 angle driving plate rig last year. The final few design tweaks were accomplished in December and all tests show it's highly stable. Because of the complex multilayer search requirements of driving plates we approached this as a stand alone product. However it segues perfectly with our existing customer base and will drive new and established clients back and forth between the websites. Some of pages like EULA and the Blog will be shared between the two.
Not much on the gear hasn't been modified or built specifically for the capture of plate sets. We have a custom built GPS data logger that allows us to print Speed Graphs so clients can evaluate the speed of plate capture over the entire clip length without having to view the actual driving plate. This will save a ton of time in the preselection process. Easily see the number of starts and stops, time between stops, whether the views show steady unimpeded fast or slow driving or any other movement attribute required all in a glance.
The next few months we'll finish testing and capturing plates in the Pacific Northwest and then we'll start moving the rig to other North American and European locations.
Maps are slated to be added in 2020.
It's going to be fun year.
