A darkly shadowed, jagged peak, ringed with talus and still patched with winter's snow, juts starkly into the summer sky. A flight passes to the right, bringing a lower, more rounded ridgetop between the viewer and the pinnacle in the middle ground, which is then seen again from a slightly different angle.
