NEPAL Mount Everest -- The spectacular view of Mount Everest (centre left, the world's tallest peak at 8848m) from the top of Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak, 5360m) in the Khumbu Himal (Everest region) of Nepal. Also visible in this image are the peaks of Mount Nuptse (centre, 7861m) and Mount Lhotse (right, 7861m). The Gokyo trek is becoming an intrinsict part of the Everest trail, with many visiting Gokyo and then crossing the Cho La (Cho Pass) to the more traditional viewpoint of Kala Pattar, though many prefer the view from this peak and others in the Gokyo valley -- Picture by Jon Mitchell / Lightroom Photos
