EARTH -- Jan 2007 - An artist's impression of the Orion crew module atop a rocket, which is one of the two new principal rocket systems which will form the core of NASA's Constellation Program. This crew module carries the astronauts into space - much like the current Russian Soyuz rockets do - and is launched seperately to the cargo modile which is called Ares. The mission of the Constellation Program is to return astronauts to the Moon and has ambitions to send manned missions far out into our solar system to Mars and even the Jupiter moon Europa.
