NEPAL Gokyo Peak -- A trekker and his guide ascend Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak) with the third lake of the spectacular Gokyo valley in the background. This valley is increasingly an intrinsic part of the Everest trail for many trekkers. Many cross the Cho La (Cho Pass) to the Khumbu Glacier and the more traditional Everest viewpoint at Kala Pattar.
