First British astronaut to blast off to the ISS on 15 Dec 2015

EARTH Aboard the Space Shuttle -- 30 May 2011 -- The British ESA astronaut Tim Peake before his launch to the International Space Station (pictured file image from 2011) on 15 Dec 2015. Tim Peake is the first British astronaut to visit the ISS and will be launched together with commander Yuri Malenchenko and NASA astronaut Tim Kopra.
