Aerial view of the Ranger stations after the landslide of June 3, 2007, which changed the face of the Valley of the Geysers, Kronotsky Zapovednik, Kamchatka, Far East Russia.During the landslide of June 3, 2007, an entire side of a mountain collapsed and filled part of the Geyser River, creating a dam and lake. The landslide miraculously stopped just short of the ranger stations, sparing the lives of the people there at the time.
