Lava erupted from Fissure 8 of the Kilauea Volcano flowing through agricultural plots. Kapoho, Puna District, Hawaii. Plants on the windward side of the lava river remain live and green, while vegetation on the downwind side has been scorched dead by sulfur dioxide and other toxic gases emitted by the lava June 2018.
