NASA Satellite Shows Hurricane Irma and Jose
CARIBBEAN SEA, Earth - September 9, 2017 - Double Troubole...This dramatic NASA MODIS satellite image from the Terra, Aqua and Nuomi NPP satellites shows the most powerful and devastating Category 5+++ Hurricane Irma (left) and the increasingly dangerous Hurricane Jose (right) which is nearly Category 5 with sustained winds of 150mph over the Caribbean Sea on September 8, 2017. Irma has left a trail of devastion through the eastern Caribbean islands and is pictured here barelling along the northern coast of Cuba. Jose is due to deliver further devastation to the northeastern Caribbean. Irma is forecast to turn north to Florida and is still classified as a the maximum strength a hurricane can be classed as with sustained winds of over 160mph, as millions in Florida try to flee the huge storm.
