OverflightStock respects your right to privacy and uses the following practices to keep any information we gather secure. This policy may change from time to time. 

In order to fulfil transactions and effectively communicate we need to collect and maintain a relevant amount of information about you in the form of email address, mailing address, phone numbers. All online financial transactions are carried out through a secure third party system — either PayPal or Skrill. We never see or store any credit card information. 

As our goal is to continually provide our customers with the best possible experience and choice of images and footage for their projects. We may from time to time solicit information from you or send information to you. In either case we will respectfully cease emailing or making contact should you ask us to.  

Any information we do have about you will not be sold, given or transmitted to any third parties.

Data collection, storage and processing of personal data.

PhotoDeck collects, stores, processes and transmits user data in order to fulfill the PhotoDeck Service, to guarantee that PhotoDeck complies with applicable laws, and to protect the legitimate business interests of PhotoDeck. The collection of personal information submitted by users is a mandatory requirement in the use of the PhotoDeck Service.

PhotoDeck does not store payment card numbers.

Collected personal data is stored on servers located in Europe. Extensive security safeguards are in place to protect the data against unauthorized access and abuse. The software used on the servers is frequently updated to stay abreast of the latest computer security developments.

Access to personal information and sharing with 3rd parties.

Access to personal information that can be linked to a specific individual is limited to a handful of authorized PhotoDeck staff (including potential authorised external contractors). PhotoDeck will not transmit personal information to third parties other than PhotoDeck Subscribers unless explicitely permitted by the individual, due to legal obligations, or when it is an obvious requirement in fulfilling the PhotoDeck Service (e.g. personal information of an individual using a PhotoDeck Subscriber website operated under the PhotoDeck Service, technical support provided by an authorised contractor, …).

The use of personal data (e.g. email address) for marketing and promotion purposes is subject to prior agreement (opt-in) with the user.

PhotoDeck might provide selected partners with information about its Subscribers and Users, only when the Subscriber/User has consented to it through the service interface and has been informed of the type of data shared.

Usage of PhotoDeck Subscribers’ websites.

PhotoDeck collects personal data on behalf of its clients (Subscribers) operating websites under the PhotoDeck Service, and makes this data available to the Subscribers operating said websites. Data within this scope include for example User’s approximative location, images stored in lightboxes, orders and transaction information.

Statistics and logs.

PhotoDeck uses Google Analytics, a service provided by Google (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to gather statistical information about PhotoDeck users and visitors. In addition, PhotoDeck collects logs of actions performed on the PhotoDeck website and on the PhotoDeck Service, for technical and security purposes. PhotoDeck access logs include data on the user’s browser and its operating system, as well as IP address.

Similarly, PhotoDeck provides to PhotoDeck Subscribers the opportunity to use Google Analytics and access logs for the website they operate under the PhotoDeck Service. Logs provided by PhotoDeck to its Subscribers do not include IP addresses. Logs are cleared on a regular basis.



Note: the term “cookie” refers to any technical means to store data on a visitor’s computer for later retrieval. We use cookies, a small data file stored by your Web Browser on your computer hard drive or mobile device memory which can be retrieved the next time you visit the site.

Cookies used on websites powered by the PhotoDeck platform include: af : when a visitor reaches a member website through a member’s affiliate, an affiliate cookie to identify the PhotoDeck member’s affiliate; Cookies used to facilitate key features of the website, e.g. cart and lightbox facilities; _ficelle_session : Session cookie for authentication and security purposes for registered and and logged-in users; For registered and logged-in users, other cookies used for performance: some information is stored in cookies instead of the database to provide for better performance when using the website; Any other cookie that might be placed directly or indirectly by the member, for example through the integration of external services (Google Analytics or other statistics service, or other widget, etc…)

PhotoDeck-powered websites can be used without cookies, but with a limited feature set.
