Hurricane Irma Smashes Through The Caribbean
CARIBBEAN SEA, Earth - September 7, 2017 - Triple Whamy...This dramatic NASA MODIS satellite image from the Terra, Aqua and Nuomi NPP satellites shows the most powerful and devastating Category 5+++ Hurricane Irma (centre), Hurricane Jose (right) and Hurricane Katia (left in the Gulf of Mexico) over the Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico on September 7, 2017. Irma has left a trail of devastation on the islands of Barbuda, St Martin and several other Caribbean islands. It is forecast to pass the northern coast of Cuba before heading to the Florida Keys and possibly through central Florida, without any sign of loosing power. Hurricane Jose is expected to strengthen and cover part of the same path as Irma before turning north on Monday.
