NASA Satellite Shows Hurricane Irma Over Cuba
CARIBBEAN SEA, Earth - September 9, 2017 - This dramatic NASA MODIS satellite image from the Terra, Aqua and Nuomi NPP satellites shows the increasingly dangerous Hurricane Jose - which is nearly Category 5 with sustained winds of 150mph over the Caribbean Sea approaching Anguilla, the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico on September 8, 2017. Hurricane Irma has left a trail of devastion through the eastern Caribbean islands and is Hurricane Jose is due to deliver further devastation to the northeastern Caribbean.
